and with it comes 342 high-quality balloon recordings for creative sound design and foley.

I've been working on number of fun new sound libraries, from Sci Fi to Fantasy, and in order to create them set about recording a ton of source material. A lone balloon was amongst these new recordings – I was really happy with how it turned out so I decided to release it as its own library. Recorded with ultrasonic mics, it's especially well suited to sound design and further manipulation, although it also works out of the box to drop directly into your projects!

What can you do with it?

• Use it for game and cutscene foley
• Get creative: use rubber balloon flap sounds as footsteps, bird wings, fish sounds. Let your imagination run wild!
• Make powerful impact layers and explosions with water-filled balloon sfx
• Create playful sound effects for UI and game jams
• Pitch sounds down to concoct horrifying creatures and underwater effects (works best with 24/96 version)

2 versions available:

• 16 bit 44kHz Stereo WAV (for in-game use) Provided at a discounted rate if you don't plan on pitching the sounds down or delving into sound design.
• 24 bit 96kHz Stereo WAV (for sound design use) The higher sample rate retains ultrasonic frequencies captured during recording, so you can pitch down and retain more high frequency detail. Also unlocks 16/44 version.
